Living in Seattle has definitely made me a more liberal person
In a lot of ways
But just for one example
And I didn't use to be like this
But now I'm a big supporter of funding for the arts in public schools
Mainly because I think we need better homeless street musicians in Seattle
Holy smokes
It's gotten to the point with these street musicians
I wanna give 'em a dollar to stop playing
I'm like
"Here
Here's some money
Now quit makin' such a god-damn racket"
You got the guy in front of Macy's
Bangin' on a plastic bucket
That's not music
That's extortion
It's like he's saying
"Hey, you better give me some of that spare change
And help me get off these streets
Or I'll be back here again tomorrow
Might even bring another bucket
Or a kazoo
Whatever it takes for you to help me
I'm gonna annoy myself into a higher tax bracket"
That's this guy's whole plan
