I got laid off awhile back
So I'm unemployed
Or as I like to say
I work from home
Times are tough, man
I went down to apply for food stamps
And the lady behind the counter
Gave me a piece of cardboard and a sharpie
She said 'budget cuts'
I'm trying to find a job
And things are getting desperate
I been showing up at job interviews
With a pair of kneepads and some chapstick
